Majority of VA claim denials are erroneous, report says

Nearly one-third of benefits claims submitted to the Department of Veterans Affairs are likely to be denied, with 60% of the denials erroneous, according to a report from the National Center for Policy Analysis. Veterans who call the VA's benefits hotline with a question have about a 50-50 chance of receiving a correct answer from someone, the report found.
