Report looks at abuse cases among adults with disabilities

In 2011, there were almost 3,000 seniors and adults with disabilities who were victims of abuse, according to data from the Oregon Department of Human Services. According to the report, self-neglect and financial exploitation were top areas of abuse and 76% of cases occurred in private homes.
