Use of LENSAR's laser device for corneal incisions gets FDA OK

The FDA has given LENSAR expanded 510(k) clearance for use of its laser device in performing corneal incisions among patients undergoing cataract surgery. The LENSAR Laser System previously has been cleared by the FDA for use in lens fragmentation and anterior capsulotomy.
