GE Healthcare, Deep Breeze win FDA approval for lung-imaging device

The FDA has given 510(k) clearance to GE Healthcare and Deep Breeze to sell a radiation-free lung-imaging tool. The VRIxv system is a noninvasive device that uses acoustic sensors to record lung sounds of patients and is equipped with software designed to transform the signals into images.
