FCC official blames death threats on Limbaugh, talk radio

The FCC's security team is reviewing a series of death threats received by Mark Lloyd, the agency's chief diversity officer, after Rush Limbaugh and other conservative talkers aired critical comments about Lloyd's alleged goal of bringing back the Fairness Doctrine. Lloyd attributed the threats to a "right-wing smear campaign" and denied he wanted to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. Limbaugh countered, saying, "I know that guy doesn't get near the amount of death threats that I do."
