House GOP introduces bill that would increase SEC budget

House Republicans have introduced legislation that would increase the Securities and Exchange Commission's fiscal 2012 budget to $1.3 billion. The agency's current budget is $1.185 billion. The SEC has requested a budget hike as it works to implement the new rules mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act.
