General Electric plans offshore-wind investments

General Electric has invested $6 billion into the clean-energy sector in recent years, with much of the cash going to wind projects, and executives say there is more to come. GE is believes that the U.S., like Europe, will develop its offshore-wind sector in the coming years, said Kevin Walsh, director of the firm's energy financial-services division. "We're looking at other offshore wind opportunities, and we're certainly following the whole space," he added.
