ONC chief commends states' EHR meaningful use efforts

National HIT Coordinator Dr. Farzad Mostashari acknowledged the states with the most advanced adoption of meaningful use of EHRs at the ONC's annual meeting last week. Among the states with the highest percentages of providers receiving EHR incentives are Maine, Delaware and Massachusetts. Mostashari also saluted the states that have risen the most in the rankings, which include California, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.
