Adult congenital heart disease to be named subspecialty

The American Board of Medical Specialties will soon offer adult congenital heart disease as a new subspecialty for physician certification, reflecting improved outcomes for children with CHD. At most, just half of adult CHD patients receive cardiovascular care.
