Your compensation plan will fail if you don't communicate it well

If your sales compensation plan doesn't seem to be generating the intended results, poor communication could be to blame, writes Chuck Csizmar, founder of CMC Compensation Group. You should clearly explain the plan's objectives and highlight any thresholds or caps involved, he writes. "Show how payments progress as performance increases, whether using percentages, commission rates or a combination."
