A study comparing a butter-rich diet and a cheese-rich one finds eaters of the cheese diet had lower LDL cholesterol levels, even though the fat levels in both diets were the same. Researchers also said participants who ate a cheese-rich diet for six weeks had no change in LDL cholesterol compared to a normal diet.
