Silicone dominates the Vegas implant market

Saline-filled breast implants gained popularity after health officials temporarily removed silicone implants from the market, but about 75% of the augmentations plastic surgeon George Alexander performs are with silicone, he says. Women have gone from seeking large cup sizes to wanting more modest results, and many of Alexander's patients are mothers who breast-fed their children. In Las Vegas, breast augmentation is part of the culture, says plastic surgeon Jeffrey Roth.
