Small hospital EMR market faces slowdown, report finds

A KLAS report finds more than 200 hospitals with fewer than 200 beds are replacing or changing their health information systems, suggesting a bumpy road ahead for community hospital EMRs. The report attributes this to dissatisfaction with EMR vendors and the rising trend among smaller hospitals to link with integrated delivery networks to survive economic woes.
