Georgia 9-1-1 authority OKs CAD-to-CAD to link city, county

The Chattahoochee River 9-1-1 Authority in Georgia has voted to approve the use of CAD-to-CAD software as a seamless interface between Dunwoody city police dispatchers and DeKalb County emergency medical services. Dunwoody currently uses a one-button transfer system to send information to DeKalb fire and rescue call-takers, but data analysis shows that this system adds minutes to emergency response times.
