Florida city wants more gay cops

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department hopes to recruit more openly gay and lesbian officers through advertising targeted at the gay community. Detective Brice Brittenum, 24, recently took on the job of department liaison to the gay community. "We hope to send a positive message to the community that we're not going to turn our backs on any group," Brittenum said.
