Cellulosic-ethanol plant in Sweden may close due to lack of funds

Sweden-based Sekab may shut down its cellulosic-ethanol plant in Örnsköldsvik after the first quarter of 2012 if the company can't secure funds to keep the facility operational. The plant, which went online in 2004, has been operating with financial help from the EU and the Swedish Energy Agency.
