Defense spending cuts are a "given," Air Force official says

According to Lt. Gen. Charles Davis, the military official who heads up Air Force acquisition, cuts to the Pentagon budget -- even if Congress averts $500 billion in cuts to it -- will mean reductions, schedule changes and higher weapons costs. "There are definitely going to be cuts. We know that's a given," Davis said.
