Medicaid primary care reimbursements to rise 73% under ACA

A Kaiser Family Foundation study found that Medicaid fees for primary care will increase by an average of 73% nationwide next year and go up more than 100% in six states including Florida, California and New York under a provision of the Affordable Care Act. The law raises low Medicaid rates to Medicare levels next year and in 2014 for vaccine administration as well as evaluation and management services.
