Live Nation, Ticketmaster to compete in ticket market

Live Nation, a concert promotion company, will end its relationship with Ticketmaster in 2008, opening the door for it to develop a rival ticket-selling business. Live Nation will contract with Germany's CTS Eventim for software to handle ticket sales.
