Facebook will begin inserting ads into news feed

Ads in the form of repurposed user "likes" and other such interaction will become part of Facebook's news feed early next year. The ads, known as Sponsored Stories, are expected to have a form much like that of other posts but with a "sponsored" tag at the bottom. The company says a gradual introduction is planned, but the ads are expected to have premium value because of their association with a user's friends.
