Ex-student is charged in U. of Nebraska data breach

A former University of Nebraska student has been charged in connection with the breach of a database holding three campuses' records on more than 650,000 students, alumni, applicants, parents and employees. Daniel Stratman faces a federal charge of reckless damage to a protected computer during unauthorized access.
