New plant openings signal manufacturing jobs growth

The opening of factories by U.S. and foreign companies in southern states is helping grow the manufacturing job sector. Some say part of this recent surge in manufacturing is due to a friendly economic climate and incentives provided by state governments. Factory jobs are still below where they were pre-recession, but the trend for technical job opportunities appears to be headed in a positive direction.
