Federal, state agencies launch probes after BP's Alaska oil spills

Federal and state officials are investigating two recent oil spills at BP's facilities in Alaska's North Slope. The Environmental Protection Agency already is looking into the cause of a November oil spill, while state agencies are investigating an incident that occurred last Monday. BP declined to comment on the governments' actions, but spokesman Steve Rinehart said the company will cooperate with regulatory agencies.
