Lawyers offer advice on making new hires

Small-business owners who start hiring again can cut down the glut of resumes by narrowing the requirements for a job, said employment lawyers Michelle Heverly and Dan Velton. The experts say hiring managers should take time to find a good match for each job, be flexible enough to consider independent contractors and consider letting trusted employees work from home.
