Accenture exec forecasts top trends at International CES

Kumu Puri, a senior executive with Accenture's consumer-electronics practice, has identified what she thinks will be leading technologies featured at next month's 2012 International CES. They include ultrabook computers, which aim to compete with Apple's MacBook Air; mobile devices, especially Android-based tablet computers and smartphones with mobile-payment systems and location-based services; all sorts of connected devices, topped by automotive electronics, kitchen appliances and television sets; and Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system.
