"Bridesmaids" producer: The female audience is a huge market

Judd Apatow says stereotyping, both in the filmmaking business and by the American consumer, is a reality and that making comedies such as "Bridesmaids" is harder than making a serious-in-tone drama. The success of the film, he says, proves there is a huge market for movies that star women and that are aimed at the female audience.
