Hepatitis B vaccine a must for adults with diabetes, CDC says

Diabetes patients ages 23 to 59 face a twofold greater risk of contracting hepatitis B than patients without diabetes, according to the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. Adults who receive a diabetes diagnosis should be vaccinated against the virus as soon as possible, the report said.
