Drug distributor criticizes British plan for health care technology

As the U.K.'s National Health Service is about to enter the final building phase of its massive information technology system, the nation's largest drug distributor says it may not work due to haste, lack of knowledge about health care and overreliance on big IT companies. AAH Pharmaceuticals also said not enough clinicians had been involved, but the NHS dismissed the charges as factually incorrect and coming from a company that had chosen not to participate in the development process.
