Vitamin D deficiency linked to Caesarean delivery

Boston researchers say pregnant women with a vitamin D deficiency are nearly four times as likely to have a Caesarean delivery than those who have sufficient levels. Studies have linked a lack of vitamin D to proximal muscle weakness and poorer muscle performance and strength. The study author said that could help explain the findings.
