Perhaps the biggest story in TV programming this year is who will take over the desired time slots held by "Oprah," which goes off the air in fall 2011, according to this roundup of the year's biggest stories in programming, journalism, sales-advertising and new media. A new syndicated talk show featuring CNN's Anderson Cooper is seen as having much promise, but some stations, including Oprah's home base in Chicago, WLS, are going local with their replacement programming.
