How will education technology fare in 2012?

Schools that allow students to bring their own technology to class will help enable 1:1 computing to succeed in 2012, suggests education-technology expert Christopher Dawson. The five predictions Dawson makes for education technology in 2012 include the increased use of data-driven decision-making by educators. He also predicts Google's new tablet computer, expected to be released in 2012, will not overtake the iPad's foothold in the classroom.
