Motorola is slowed by obstacles in state-of-art "X Phone" design

Google's Motorola Mobility has had to scale back its efforts in designing and developing a smartphone dubbed "X Phone" that was aimed at competing with more popular models from Apple and Samsung Electronics, according to a published report. After seven months of development, Motorola has been forced to reconsider some cutting-edge features, such as a flexible screen, due to supply-chain and manufacturing issues. The report describes Motorola's multifront mobile-device strategy.
