Global investment banks see Asia-Pacific revenues jump

As the Asia-Pacific region played host to a wave of bank recapitalizations and initial public offerings this year, global investment banks experienced a 53% increase in revenues in the region. Core investment-banking activities in Asia-Pacific generated $10.66 billion in fees, according to Dealogic. In 2007, investment banks recorded $11.32 billion in fees in the region.
