US Airways COO aims to upgrade operations, on-time record

US Airways CEO Doug Parker recently named Robert Isom chief operating officer of the airline. Parker hopes Isom will address some of the challenges the airline has faced since US Airways and America West merged two years ago. Isom has already created a team dedicated to improving the on-time performance of US Airways flights.
