Dermal fillers make old skin act young in study

The dermal filler Restylane boosted the extracellular matrix, encouraged the formation of new collagen and made skin look younger when injected into the buttocks of octogenarians, researchers report in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology. The patients' thinning skin thickened and produced more blood vessels.
