Use of smart-TV features lags behind device proliferation

About half of the 25 million U.S. homes outfitted with smart-TV devices are using the devices to their full Internet-connected capacity, according to an NPD Group survey. That ratio has held since the introduction of the devices. "It's a conundrum no one [in the] industry has been able to solve," says a study by One Touch Intelligence.
