Panasonic wants public to get "facts" on plasma TVs

In an unusual holiday campaign, Panasonic touted its plasma screen TV technology as being superior to LCD -- even though Panasonic parent company, Matsushita Electric, also sells a complete line of LCD sets. Panasonic's "Six facts" newspaper campaign in defense of plasma TV was largely a response to Sony's "HD challenge," which claims LCD sets offer the better picture in a room lit by fluorescent lights.
