Abused children find comfort in furry friend

Dawson Place in Everett, Wash., which counsels about 1,000 abused children annually, recently added yellow Labrador retriever Harper to the staff. Harper, a trained service dog, provides warm, furry comfort to traumatized children as they talk with her handler, child interview specialist Gina Coslett.
