Miss. Board of Education establishes rules on charter schools

The Mississippi Board of Education has created guidelines for charter school operation in anticipation of lawmakers taking up the issue next year. New principles include placing restrictions on charter school approval in low-performing school districts and giving veto power to local school boards in better preforming districts.
