Small changes in driving or eating habits may help curb obesity

Driving one less mile per day and taking a bus to work rather than driving would have a similar result to reducing daily caloric intake by 100 calories, according to a study in Preventive Medicine. Making small changes in activity levels or diet can lead to significant reductions in BMI, researchers said.
