Indiana coal plant would use innovative clean technology

Charlotte, N.C.-based utility Duke Energy is waiting on an air permit to build a $2 billion coal plant in Indiana that would be innovative in using clean technology. The plant would be the world's largest coal-fired plant to use integrated gasification combined cycle, or IGCC, which has the potential to take the air pollution debate out of coal-fired energy, an expert says.
