N.C. county saves money with wellness program

An employee wellness program that included health screenings saved Pender County, N.C., almost $75,000 over three years and could save more than $400,000 over the next five years. Library technology coordinator Cindy Goodin lost 75 pounds in the wellness program and became its leader, helping set up walking groups and the "Eight Weeks to a Healthier You" initiative.
