Pancreatitis symptoms can be fought with olive oil, fish oil

Oleic acid, hydroxytyrosol and polyunsaturated omega-3 oils all show effectiveness in offsetting the symptoms of pancreatitis, according to a study. "There is increasing evidence that there are oxidative-inflammatory processes involved in the origin of chronic diseases and that diet plays an important role in such processes," said Maria Belen Lopez Millan, who wrote the study.
