Internships at startups provide unique work experience

Interns with startups are finding that they often get to do more and interact more with leaders of the company than their counterparts at major corporations. For example, Brittany Schulte, a University of Michigan student, is interning at a student prep center with a three-person staff. "I actually feel like I'm doing something and I'm part of the business instead of just another intern," she said.
