Biotech startup raises $5 million in financing round

Daktari Diagnostics said in a regulatory filing that it has secured $5 million in a funding round. The Cambridge, Mass.-based startup is developing a point-of-care HIV test capable of making crucial CD4 white blood cell counts that can be used to evaluate AIDS therapies in the developing world.
