N.J. bill would prohibit "fracking" pending EPA study results

A measure introduced by New Jersey state Assemblyman Declan O'Scanlon would prohibit hydraulic fracturing there until the state reviews the findings of a study by the Environmental Protection Agency. Gov. Chris Christie placed a yearlong moratorium on the practice after vetoing a bill that would have barred fracking waste from being treated or stored in the state.
