Pa. steps up enforcement of dog-related laws

The dog-law unit of Pennsylvania's Agriculture Department has beefed up enforcement in several areas this year, including taking action against 37 operations engaging in illegal breeding of dogs, a spokeswoman says. The office has also stepped up enforcement of laws relating to dangerous dogs and has cracked down on online sales of dogs.
