Schools find reliable, low-cost option in Google Chromebook

Schools nationwide increasingly are purchasing the Google Chromebook, which combines features of the notebook computer and the netbook. Among its benefits, educators say, are the low cost, ease of use and reliability. Educators who have adopted the Chromebook suggest that those looking to make the transition update their Wi-Fi access, use Google Apps for Education and provide training for teachers ahead of implementation.
