United says superstorm Sandy affected Q4 capacity

Superstorm Sandy was part of the reason for a 4.2% decrease in United Holdings' capacity in the fourth quarter when compared to last year, the company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company also expects to post unit revenue growth in the range of 0.5% to 1.5% and a unit-cost increase of 5.6% to 6.6%, excluding costs associated with profit-sharing and fuel.
