Texas, Oklahoma fires kill five, char scores of buildings

Wildfires that scorched nearly 20,000 acres in two states over two days have claimed five lives and destroyed approximately 128 homes, with no rain in sight and "extreme fire danger" still predicted for the region. Seventy-three separate blazes in Texas and dozens in Oklahoma were responsible for the damage, and fires remain active in five counties, authorities said.
